Who Was Genghis Khan & Mongol warlords Jamukha & Naimans fight Temujin

Tamujan's best friend, Blood Brother Jamuka, was arrested and brought before him.

Tamujan offered to be his friend again But Jamuka's response was a surprise answer to Temujin.

What was the answer?

How did Tamujan become Genghis Khan from an ordinary Sardar?

And this difficult journey is red with many betrayals and countless blood stains

But what is this journey?

I am Sadaqat Ali and read,  the second Article of Who Was Genghis Khan, we are showing you all this In Tamujan's childhood, another Mongol tribe, the Jedard, camped near Tamujan every winter. These people were not hunters like Tamujan Rather, these sheep were peaceful nomads tending goats. He had good rituals from the Tamujan tribe. They did not even attack each other. Tamujan became close friends with Jamuka, a child of the same tribe. The friendship was so deep that the two hunted together, eating in the same pot Even The Secret History of the Mongols, the oldest book written about Genghis Khan It is also written in it That Tamujan and Jamuka slept in the same bed. Even at the age of twelve, the two had drunk each other's blood. There was a tradition among the Mongols that when two people became close friends, When they took an oath of allegiance, they symbolically gave each other gifts. During this time they also drank a few drops of each other's blood. This ritual was called 'Anda' by the Mongols. In English you can call it Blood Brothers. So one day Jamuka pulled out the horns of a dead calf after hunting. He made a necklace with a hole in it and presented it to Tamujan as a gift. Tamujan also responded by giving an arrow to Jamuka. The two also drank a few drops of each other's blood. The two were now traditionally one and the same. Now they could give their lives for each other. And could take Because this gift and this ritual was of extraordinary importance. But obviously they were not gypsies. Sometimes by the river, sometimes at the foot of the mountain. So after spending a few childhood years together, the two friends parted ways. They left but did not forget. They used to take good news of each other from the caravans coming and going. Similarly, when Tamujan's wife Borte was abducted, an army of 20,000 came to rescue her. He belonged to Jamuka. And this article I have shown you in the previous Article. So since Borte's return, Jamuka and Tamujan have been living in the same camp. By this time, Jamuka had also become the chief of his tribe And Tamujan had also gathered around him many loyalists of whom he was now a chief. Now the two friends began to form a large army. Together they began to gather the Gypsy Mongols around them to form a large army. The two had started gathering a large army, but that was it That was the problem. Both wanted to rule the whole of Mongolia. And you know, there was a saying in Mongolia Just as there can be no two suns, there can be no two Mongol chiefs. And in a power struggle, blood relations fade. Then these are the brothers made as a result of the blood brothers or the egg ritual. So the tug-of-war for full power began between the two. This tug-of-war also began to manifest itself in the form of small grievances. Jamuka complained to Tamujan why he was appointing lower castes as commanders in the army. And why is he ignoring the upper castes? His complaint did not go away, so he began to stand firm. One day he told Tamujan to camp by the river with his cows and sheep While I am going to camp on the grass with my horses. When Tamujan's wife Borte heard this, she warned her husband Jamuka is fed up with your friendship. So leave it and move on and travel at night. Be carefull That's what Tamujan did. So Tamujan and his companions ... Leaving Jamuka and his family behind They left the camp in the dark of night. They set up their own camp far away from the Jamuka camp. Thus, after living together for a year and a half, the two friends parted ways. Now the two friends began to form their own army. And then one day someone informed Tamujan about his old fugitive tribe, whose leader was once his father. And who attacked him, and made him a prisoner The tribe and its people have forged a friendship with Jamuka. It was a practical announcement by Tamujan's childhood friend, Blood Brother Jamuka, to end the friendship. In a way, it was the beginning of enmity. So a separate ceremony was held in both camps. And in Mongolia it was as if two suns were rising. A ceremony was held at the Jamuka camp. In which many of his supporting tribes were gathered. He called Jamuka Gurkhan. This meant the greatest chief of the Mongols. There were thirteen to sixteen tribes giving these speeches. But it so happened that some Jamuka supporters left him for some reason and met him during the cross. One of them told Tamujan that he had a strange dream. He has seen that the heavens and the earth have become one. And they are saying in unison That the greatest khan should be only Timojan. A ceremony was also held at the Su Tamujan camp. Tamujan was given the title of Genghis Khan, the ruler of the whole universe, and was well celebrated. Consider that both wanted to be the greatest Mongol chiefs But no one took the title of Khaqan. However, among the Mongols, the chief of all chiefs was called Khaqan. Apparently the reason was that both knew that until one of them was finished or the other would obey, The other can never be called Khaqan. So those who drank each other's blood and were in a blood relationship Today they were preparing to shed each other's blood. True, there is no such thing as a moral weapon in a power struggle. The power struggle between the two blood brothers was imminent.

All that was needed was a simple spark. And then look at this excuse as a very minor incident According to The Secret History of the Mongols, Jamuka's brother Techar stole the horses of a friend of Genghis Khan's. Genghis Khan's companion chased the thief and shot him dead. When Jamuka learned of his brother's death, his body caught fire. He is said to have raised an army of 30,000 and attacked Genghis Khan. Genghis Khan had an army of only thirteen thousand. This small army fought well against the large army of Jamuka but the field remained in the hands of Jamuka. Genghis Khan was defeated and fled, taking refuge in a gorge.

On the one hand, he was licking the wound of the necklace, and on the other hand, he received a painful news. The news was that some people from one of its allied tribes, the Jerkin, had been captured by Jamuka. And the sad news was that seventy of them had been drowned by Jamuka in boiling water. When Genghis Khan found out about it, he took an oath. I swear he will now prepare himself so that he will never be defeated again. He started gathering troops again. He contacted Sardar Aung Khan of his old allied tribe, the Karait. Ong Khan decided to support Genghis Khan and reached Genghis Khan's aid with a large army. A large army had now been formed against Jamuka But before decisive action was taken against Jamuka, Genghis Khan wanted to shake hands with the Tatars. Because these people have been their family enemies for centuries. He was the one who poisoned and killed Genghis Khan's father Yesogai and we have shown you this Article. So Genghis Khan and his ally Aung Khan made a decisive attack and dispersed the Tatar tribes and their power. Genghis Khan ordered the army That the neck of any Tatar man who is seen rising from a wheel of a chariot should be taken off his neck. The attack was so violent that the Tatars' backs were broken. They became so weak that they lost the ability to compete for long periods of time. During the campaign against the Tatars, Genghis Khan and Aung Khan also had the full support of the Chen dynasty of China. The reason was that the Chinese rulers were also worried about the Tatar tribes living near their border To protect themselves from the attacks of such groups, they used to build Great Chain Wall Chains. So when the Tartars suffered a shocking defeat, the Chinese rulers rejoiced. He called Ong Khan "Wang" which means prince, prince. But surprisingly, he did not recognize Genghis Khan's abilities. They called him Commander. The speech had little significance in China. But look at the oppression of time, what he considered a mediocre commander was going to be their king in a few years. After the Tartars, Genghis Khan once again turned to Jamuka. Interestingly, this time the magicians were also involved with Jamuka in comparison to Genghis Khan. According to legend, these magicians convinced Jamuka That they will bring a great storm by magic and Genghis Khan's army will be swept away in this storm. The battle began, the magicians began to cast spells. And yes, there was a storm, but it was reversed. It so happened that at some point during the magic show, snow started to fall and stormy winds started blowing. But instead of Tamujan, Jamuka's army lost its order in the storm. Its various forces began to separate from each other and the command of the army was broken. When he saw their tricks reversed, the magicians also ran away with their feet on their heads. They would run away and say that heaven did not love us anymore. The sky is not happy with us. The sky is far from us When the storm subsided, Genghis Khan also began to easily wipe out the remnants of Jamuka's army. This time Jamuka had fled the field and was escaping the wrath of Genghis Khan But Genghis Khan had some special people in his hands. These people were very much wanted by Genghis Khan anyway. Because these were the same people who were actually the people of his tribe under the leadership of his father. These were the same people who had left Genghis Khan and his mother alone after Yasugai's death. These people had also made Genghis Khan a prisoner So Genghis Khan did this to a family that had snatched the chief from his mother. They even had their children killed and their generation wiped out. But Genghis Khan forgave the other members of the tribe and re-accepted them under his leadership. Anyway, at least they didn't go down without explaining themselves first Genghis Khan's body without obedience or neck. It was better for him to obey Genghis Khan without a neck than a body, so he did. Genghis Khan had won the war, but once during that war he escaped death with a severe neck injury. It was during this battle with Jamuka and his allies that Genghis Khan received a severe wound to the neck. Maybe Genghis Khan's story would have ended with blood flowing in the wound of his neck But here's a loyal jelly job. Jelmi sat next to Genghis Khan all night and sucked out the blood clots in his wound. Then when Genghis Khan got thirsty, Jelmi went out to find milk for him. Coincidentally, there was no milk available in and around Genghis Khan's tent But the enemy camp was not far from Genghis Khan's camp. Jelmi acted boldly and secretly stole a jug of milk from the enemy camp. This quenched Genghis Khan's thirst and gradually healed his wounds. After recovering as you have seen Genghis Khan extinguished the bricks of his enemies and forced them to leave the field. Genghis Khan had achieved a significant victory against Jamuka And his old tribe had also come to obey him. But in the meantime, Genghis Khan also suffered a setback. Ong Khan had become his enemy instead of his friend. The reason for this animosity was that Aung Khan's son had refused to give his sister's relationship to Tamujan's son Jochi Khan. Then he provoked his father not to give much importance to Genghis Khan. After that, an unsuccessful attempt was made to assassinate Tamujan by calling him under pretext. He began to tell his father that Genghis Khan was befriending our former ally and current adversary, the Turkic tribe Neiman. Ong Khan came to terms with his sons And made a costly mistake of making a powerful friend like Genghis Khan an enemy. He had already sworn to never give up So instead of waiting for Aung Khan, he attacked his own camp. Genghis Khan besieged the camp of his old ally and started a war. There was a terrible fight between the two for three days. On the third day, Aung Khan left the camp and fled. He fled to the territory of his former ally and current adversary, the Neman tribe. Here a guard did not recognize Aung Khan and killed him thinking he was a thief. Immediately after this assassination, war broke out between Genghis Khan and the Neman tribe. Why did this happen? In fact, there is a legend behind it, a story. It is said that when the Neman tribe came to know that Aung Khan had been killed by their guard, they were very sad. Because the Niman tribe had become the opponent of Bhalla Ong Khan's tribe, But because of the good relations of the past, the elders of this tribe did not want the death of a respected chief like Aung Khan. So, according to their tradition, they beheaded him and brought him to a tent in their camp. A grand ceremony was held here to pay homage to him. Drinks were poured in the name of Aung Khan According to the legend, laughing sounds started coming from Aung Khan's severed head. Probably a factor as to why they're doing so poorly But seeing the head laughing, Tiang Khan, the chief of the Neman tribe, became confused. In the same confusion, he knocked Ong Khan's head down and crushed him to pieces. As he was doing this, dogs barked loudly from outside. From which the people took the bad omen that a great calamity was about to befall them. And yes disaster was coming and the name of this disaster was Genghis Khan It so happened that when the chief of the Neman tribe learned that Genghis Khan had taken control of large parts of Mongolia So he saw his tribe in danger. Genghis Khan also defeated a brother of Tiang Khan in a battle. But Tiang Khan considered himself more powerful than his brother. So he decided to take on Genghis Khan.To augment his power, he joined forces with Genghis Khan's enemy and old friend Jamuka and began preparations for war. But what happened was that their attack plan was already leaked His news reached Genghis Khan. Genghis Khan had sworn not to lose, so he went on a preemptive strike once again. He immediately set out for battle. When he reached the area of the Niman tribe, he ordered each of his soldiers to light five fires at night. The soldiers did the same. When so many and so far bonfires were lit on the battlefield So the spies of the Niman tribe who were spying in the distant mountains and forests. Scared He informed his chief that there were as many bonfires burning in the Mongol camp as there were stars in the sky. That is, the army of the Mongols is very large. The news demoralized the Niman Lashkar. So the next day, when he went out on the battlefield, he was doing hoo hoo, but he was not excited. On the other hand, Genghis Khan was fully prepared. He divided his army into several smaller armies. Each army surrounded the Niman tribe and the Jamuka army from different directions. Genghis Khan's troops were constantly raining arrows and pushing the Niman tribe back towards the mountains. But the Niman tribe was no ordinary tribe. Defeating him was not an easy task. But there was a turning point That is, the old friend of Genghis Khan and then the enemy Jamuka started playing double game. He was an ally of the Neiman tribe, He was involved in the war but he started sending secret messages to Genghis Khan. Perhaps after fighting many battles with Genghis Khan, he realized that it was not possible to defeat him. That is why he was secretly taking Genghis Khan into confidence and was constantly advising Tiang Khan, the chief of the Neman tribe, to retreat. Genghis Khan also kept moving forward. And then with Jamuka's infidelity Tiang Khan and his companions were trapped in the mountains so that Genghis Khan could hunt them as he wished. They were all surrounded by it. Jamuka fled with five of his closest associates. Genghis Khan started killing the people of Neman tribe and in the process killed even their chief. Then came a time when Gorbeso, the mother of the tribal chief Tiang Khan, was brought before him. This woman used to say that she smelled like the Mongols. Genghis Khan decided to punish him And the punishment was that she would become the wife of Genghis Khan. However, another great chief, Tiang Khan, had been killed after a battle with Genghis Khan, and Jamuka had fled. Jamuka had secretly sided with Bhalla Genghis Khan. But Genghis Khan was no longer willing to blindly trust Jamuka. He wanted to capture it at all costs Modern historians also say that Jamuka was Genghis Khan's double agent And now he wanted to eliminate this double agent as his weakness. That is why Genghis Khan's soldiers were looking for him everywhere. Genghis Khan also announced a large reward for Jamuka's capture. Jamuka wandered in the mountains with his five companions for a year And the nomadic tribes continued to make a living by plundering the people one by one. But when his comrades found out that Genghis Khan had placed a reward on Jamuka's arrest, they became greedy. One night while Jamuka was eating, five of his companions attacked him And they tied him up and brought him to Genghis Khan. He expected a great reward from Genghis Khan. But their happiness turned to sorrow when Genghis Khan sentenced them to death instead of rewarding them. In fact, Genghis Khan hated those who betrayed their master and betrayed him.So he killed those who captured his chief in the lure of a reward. Then he turned to Jamuka. The blood brother of his childhood, along with the food and sleeping Jamuka, was lying in front of him tied with ropes. Genghis Khan said to Jamuka Luck has brought us closer together again, so why don't we become one again. But Jamuka's response surprised Genghis Khan. "Just as there can be only one sun in the sky, so there can be only one ruler in the Mongols," said Jamuka. If I live, I will always be a problem for you So it is better that you kill me. Yes, just give me a death in which my blood does not flow. It is written in hundreds of old books that Jamuka was killed by Genghis Khan by breaking his spine from his neck. At the behest of Genghis Khan, the last rites of Jamuka were performed in a good manner. But modern historians disagree He believes that Genghis Khan made an act of enmity with his blood brother against his enemies. Used to weaken real enemies. Then, after leaving work, Genghis Khan killed Jamuka for fear of revealing secrets. Modern historians also say that Jamuka's bloodless story is a lie. And the Mongols fabricated this story to honor their great leader, Genghis Khan. In fact, Jamuka was brutally dismembered and killed.

It is said that Jamuka had said these last words to Genghis Khan before he died"I will come in the dark nights and bother you, I will ruin your sleep." Anyway, like the murder, but Jamuka was no more, Ong Khan Great leaders like Tiang Khan were dead. Genghis Khan was undoubtedly the greatest leader of Mongolia. Twelve hundred and six in the place from where the rivers of Onan flow From where the river Onan flows There was a great gathering of all the Mongol tribes. It was called 'Qarultai' in the Mongol language. A large white flag was hoisted at the gathering. Nine tails on the flag, the tails were waving. At this gathering all the Mongol tribes unanimously considered Genghis Khan to be the greatest Khan of the whole region. He had now become the greatest khan, khaqan or king of the region.
